Tropicana Chips, Dice and Cards for Sale

Today, the Tropicana Hotel and Casino closed. The resort opened on April 4, 1957. The resort missed celebrating its 67th birthday by two days.

When a casino closes in Las Vegas, the demand increases for items from that resort. At this moment, we have a very limited supply of dice pairs, chips and card decks.

We know in the coming days, we are going to sell a lot more of these items. If you are interested in getting a piece of Las Vegas casino history, this is the time to do it.

Here are a few facts about the now closed Las Vegas resort:

The Tropicana Hotel and Casino's mob history included the Kansas City outfit. Reportedly, they stole $2 million from Las Vegas resorts including the Tropicana.

In pop culture, the movie is mentioned in the 1971 James Bond movie Diamonds are Forever.

Its nickname was the Tiffany of the Strip.

The famed showgirl show Folies Bergere lasted almost 50 years.

In recent years, the resort became a draw for tribute artist shows including Purple Reign, Legends in Concert and MJ Live. There was also nightly comedy shows at The Laugh Factory. Show business legend Rich Little and longtime Las Vegas headliner Murray the Magician had shows there.
